Our Story

A Mebane tradition
worth savoring

Muffin's Ice Cream Shoppe opened its doors on North Fourth Street in 2012 with a simple conviction: that the best ice cream doesn't need fancy equipment or complicated recipes — just patience, quality ingredients, and a little care.

Over the years, we've become a fixture in downtown Mebane. Families stop by after weekend errands. Friends meet here to celebrate small victories. And strangers become regulars because of a single scoop.

We make our ice cream in small batches right here on-site. That means every flavor is fresh, every batch is tested, and nothing leaves our kitchen unless it meets our standard.
